On the afternoon of December 7, 2022, the School of Artificial Intelligence successfully held the Artificial Intelligence Sub-Forum of the 6th Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications International Forum for Young Scholars in Information Technology. The forum, themed "AI Creates the Future," invited 17 young scholars from around the world to participate and share their academic insights.

First, Professor Yang Jie, Party Secretary of the School, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the school, extending a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the participating scholars! Professor Yang expressed her hope that in the future, everyone would have the opportunity to work together with the school's faculty and students to strive for building the school into a top-notch and internationally renowned school of artificial intelligence! Dean Liu Liang then provided the young scholars with a detailed introduction to the school's development history, disciplinary and professional characteristics, faculty strength, and talent cultivation, sincerely inviting talents from home and abroad to join the School of Artificial Intelligence for collaborative development.

Subsequently, young scholars from prestigious universities and research institutions, including the University of London, University of California, Osaka University, Tsinghua University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, shared their research achievements in areas such as computer vision and pattern recognition, intelligent healthcare, cross-media perception computing, intelligent systems, and intelligent control. After the presentations, the faculty members of the school engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with the young scholars.
