On April 18, 2025, the academic exchange between Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and Hanyang University, South Korea, was held at the School of Artificial Intelligence. The event aimed to further strengthen the friendly collaboration between the two universities and establish a platform for in-depth dialogue among faculty and students.

Professor Yang Jie, Party Secretary of the School of Artificial Intelligence, presided over the meeting. Professor Guo Jun, head of the "Innovation Base for Advanced Intelligence and Network Services," delivered the welcome speech. Keynote presentations were given by Professor Sung Ho Cho, Professor Jinsub Park, and Professor Hichan Moon from Hanyang University, as well as Professor Zhu Konglin, Professor Yu Ke, and Associate Professor Wang Shengchu from the School of Artificial Intelligence, BUPT. Their reports explored cutting-edge AI topics such as smart healthcare, autonomous driving, disaster positioning, and intelligent agents, which received a warm welcome from the teachers and students attending the meeting.

During the event, visiting professors from Hanyang University toured several laboratories at the School of Artificial Intelligence and engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty and students regarding the showcased research achievements.

This academic exchange enhanced cooperation and communication between BUPT and Hanyang University in the field of artificial intelligence, further deepening the friendly relations between scholars from both institutions.
