From November 3 to 5, the 8th IEEE International Conference on Network Intelligence and Digital Content (IEEE IC-NIDC 2023), co-sponsored by the IEEE Beijing Section, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Hanyang University (South Korea), University of Surrey (UK), Heidelberg University (Germany), and Aalborg University (Denmark), and hosted by BUPT, was successfully held in Beijing.
The conference was co-chaired by Professor Jun Guo from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor Lin Zhang from Beijing Big Data Center, Professor Nei Kato from Tohoku University (Japan), and Professor Joon-Hyuk Chang from Hanyang University. The Program Committee was chaired by Professor Jie Yang from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor Sung Ho Cho from Hanyang University, and Professor Yi-Zhe Song from the University of Surrey.
The theme of this conference was "AI & ICT for Connected Future." It brought together over 150 experts and scholars from various countries and regions, including China, South Korea, Japan, the UK, Germany, Denmark, and Hong Kong. They gave presentations, engaged in discussions, and exchanged ideas on topics such as artificial intelligence, information and communication technology, and social networks. The conference received over 200 paper submissions from around the world. After rigorous review, 95 papers were accepted and published by IEEE.
