From October 30 to 31, 2021, the "International Training Program for AI Talents in Chinese Universities" 2021 Forum on International Training of AI Talents in Universities was successfully held in a hybrid online and offline format at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). The event was guided by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the Department of Science, Technology and Informatization, and the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and was hosted by the Chinese-Foreign Humanities Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education, with BUPT as the organizer.

The forum, themed "International Training of AI Talents in Chinese Universities in the New Era", brought together over 300 experts and scholars from both within and outside Beijing who are engaged in AI education, research, and industry applications. Participants engaged in discussions through keynote speeches, roundtable forums, cloud-based presentations, and surveys, exploring the international training of AI talents in Chinese universities in the new era. Additionally, the forum was live-streamed on various platforms.

During the keynote speech session, renowned scholars and experts shared their explorations and experiences in the international training of AI talents.

In the roundtable forum session, experts discussed the "Cultivation of AI Professionals," sharing their insights, perspectives, and practical experiences, and explored various pathways for AI talents training from different angles.
